DMCA & Copyright Policy
Start with what AdultNav is
AdultNav is a review and directory site. We do not host, store, stream or distribute any videos, images or other media. All content shown in our listings is published and hosted by the independent third-party services we review, and playback happens on their websites, not ours.
Because of that, most infringement concerns are fastest resolved with the service that actually hosts the material — every review page links to the operator's official site. That said, we take copyright seriously and operate the notice process below for anything that appears on AdultNav itself or for listings you believe should be reviewed.
Sending an infringement notice
Email a notice to [email protected] with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. To be effective under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list).
- The exact URL on thepureadult.com where the material or listing at issue appears.
- Your full name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt and review valid notices promptly.
- Where a notice identifies infringing material hosted by us, we remove or disable access to it. Where it identifies a third-party listing, we review the listing and, where warranted, remove the review and its outbound links.
- Where practical, we notify the affected party that material or a listing was removed.
Counter-notification
If your material or listing was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification to the same email address containing your contact details, identification of the removed material and its former location, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address (or the Central District of California, if outside the United States), plus your signature. Consistent with §512(g), restored material will not be reinstated sooner than 10 business days after a valid counter-notification is received, unless the original complainant files a court action.
Repeat infringers & trademarks
Listings that repeatedly direct users to infringing material are removed permanently. Site names and logos referenced in our reviews are trademarks of their respective owners and are used nominatively, for identification in editorial reviews only; their appearance does not imply endorsement of AdultNav.
